Marq Wines — Attraction in Yallingup

Terrible! The lady there is unbelievably rude! Our first stop on wine tour with 13 ppl at 11am. A few members of our group were asked not to swear as her underage daughter was there - Why she is in a licensed premises behind the counters is beyond me. They complied immediately. Another SCV group came in and we moved across the bench to make room. As we moved to the side, the lady rudely and loudly told us to move across while rolling her eyes at us. Sadly, we won’t be visiting again soon. After many years visiting with our kids, with games on the grass available to keep them entertained (always appreciated), today we went and found none of those things, and obviously a very kid ‘un’friendly venue. Our daughter was immediately told to stop (being happy?) on entry and then again to get away from the counter. Both times as if she’d really done something quite bad (and neither time at all). The food platter and housemade focaccia (baked fresh Saturdays) were a treat, with cheese and pastes made locally. Highly recommend stopping by for nibbles, the outdoor seating is a gorgeous spot to pass the day.
