Das Museum zeigt das Lebenswerk von Dr. Carl Auer von Welsbach. Man erhält Einblicke in sein berufliches Wirken, aber auch in sein Privatleben und seine Hobbys.
Mir war der Erfinder vorher nicht bekannt, ich war erstaunt welche Erfindungen von ihm stammen (eine davon kennt jede:r).
Lasst euch ebenfalls überraschen, ich war es auf jeden Fall.
Das Museum ist nicht sehr groß, es besteht aus 6 Räumen mit Ausstellungsstücken tlw laufen auch Videos. Am Eingang erhält man einen Audio Guide. Die sehr nette Dame von der Kasse hat uns im ersten Raum begleitet und uns die wichtigsten Dinge über den Erfinder erzählt.

Das Museum erzählt an ausgewählten Objekten von der Zeit, als künstliche Beleuchtung mit einer offenen Flamme unzureichend und auch gefährlich war.
