Visiting the Austrian Alps is breathtaking, offering mesmerizing views at every turn. As you ascend from the ground level to the Alps, each view is uniquely stunning. There are plenty of viewpoints along the way, and entrance to the Alpine region costs around 50+ Euros. After a 45-minute drive through the valley, you'll be amazed with spectacular sights of green mountains, glaciers, waterfalls, and lakes, making the journey entirely worthwhile. At the mountain top, the weather is cold, but the sunshine is very bright. Despite encountering clouds during my trip, I still thoroughly enjoyed the valley ride. A journey which is unforgettable. One must visit. Not even the Alps.. approach road view is also unique it's own. Due to clouds could not click many pictures but one can see a live view on the website of the Alps. Happy trip 😄

Interesting exhibiition providing information on the wildlife and minerals found along the Grossklockner Hochalpenstrasse. Admission is included as part of the road tool. There is also a nice cafe and a gift shop (there are several shops along the route, with those run by the Grossklockner all offering broadly the same products). There are also some nice viewpoints to take photos.

Great little Museum to stop off at if you have time, but I wouldn't say its a must visit. The exhibits are about crystals and history, animals and plants of the mountains and surrounding alpine region. Entrance is free. There is a nice cafe here as well as toilets and gift shop. The view outside of the mountains is also very nice.
