Nice place for hiking with trails between 30-90minutes. Nice place to visit with children 4years and older.
Park is 5 mins by foot away from the Pukersdorf railway station, as well as 5mins by foot away from the P+R park and ride (free parking) which has space for approx 100-200 parking spaces
The nature park closest to the railway station has a children's play area and some donkeys, sheep etc. The other end of the nature park, 30 minutes hike away has wild boars and reindeer.
The hiking paths at the perimeter are fairly easy, while the one in the middle is a bit more steep.

Read moreBest experience of Vienna for me. I was only able to take a hike to Rudolfswarte watchtower since it took me approximately 4 hours to go up and come back. However, you can do it within 2 hours if you don't go off-road just follow the directions. During my only trip, I saw so many beautiful scenery and lots of different plant specimens, mostly different kinds of mushrooms, around. Also, it was such an experience to reach the snow as I went up. You can see that the forest was well taken care of and protected. Before that, I stopped by the office to seek help and Ms. Gabriela was so kind and helpful to me as she told me about the park, trails, their foundation and useful tips. I recommend you to definitely visit and help them...

About 30 minutes in, you'll find a charming playground with two deer. It's a great escape from the city for families. With a small river running alongside parts of the path, bringing a change of clothes for kids in the summer is...
