Free entry into the outdoor garden. Entrance fee for greenhouses and quite short opening hours so I missed them unfortunately. Outdoor botanical garden was a pleasant experience, also with drizzle weather. It's a quiet location, pretty plants, even a few with blossoms in mid September on a rainy day. There's also a small nice pond at the lower entrance.

The Botanical Garden in Innsbruck is a lovely, peaceful spot with an impressive variety of plants (from alpine species to tropical ones). It’s well-kept, easy to explore, and offers a quiet break from the city. A pleasant visit for nature lovers (one of my favourite places in Innsbruck) the greenhouse is recommendable as well!

Fazit: ein sehr gutes lokales und leicht erreichbares Ausflugsziel in Zeiten eingeschränkter Reisemöglichkeiten. Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind leider etwas begrenzt, aber der botanische Garten ist in wenigen Minuten mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln aus dem Stadtzentrum erreichbar.

Angeregt durch Beiträge und Rezensionen im Internet wollten wir heute dem Botanischen Garten in Innsbruck einen Besuch abstatten. Als Öffnungszeiten war angegeben von 8:00 Uhr bis 18:00 Uhr. Aber weit gefehlt 12:45 Uhr war am Eingang nichts von Öffnung zu spüren. Anderen Leuten, die auch den botanischen Garten besuchen wollten, ging es ähnlich. Wurde Freitag und Samstag zum Sommerfest zu lange und zu heftig 🎉gefeiert? 🤔 Auf Grund des vorhandenen Leergutes in Papierkörben, an Büschen und Gartenzäunen in der Umgebung und in Schubkarren auf dem Gelände des botanischen Gartens kann man das bald vermuten. Schade. Leider ein sinnloser...
