Leutascher Geisterklamm and Wasserfall is a delightful destination for a weekend trek, especially for families and nature enthusiasts. I recently visited this enchanting gorge and waterfall trail, and it was a memorable experience. The trek is relatively easy, making it perfect for all age groups, including kids. The path is well-maintained and safe, with plenty of fascinating spots along the way to keep everyone entertained. The mystical atmosphere of the gorge, combined with the stunning views of the waterfall, creates a magical experience that feels like stepping into a fairy tale. We spent almost four hours on the round trek, taking our time to enjoy the scenery and explore the various nooks and crannies of the trail. The information boards along the path provided interesting insights into the geology and folklore of the area, adding an educational element to the adventure. Overall, Leutascher Geisterklamm and Wasserfall is a fantastic spot for a solo/group/family outing. The blend of natural beauty, ease of access, and kid-friendly amenities makes it a must-visit. Highly recommended for a fun and...

The photos on Google make this place look small, but the trails and gorge-area here are both very spacious and narrow & steep in some areas.

The metal bridge-corridor above the Gorge is a spectacular path and the gravel trail that takes you round-trip to the waterfall and back is dotted with fun facts and activities, like pushing buttons to smell & guess the scents of the forest and balancing over moving logs.

Besides needing to be prepared for a hike, you should bring some cash (Euros) if you want to take the walkway to the waterfall - a literally & figuratively cool experience. 👌

Just at the entrance to the waterfall walkway is a small Café where you can buy refreshments, food and your ticket into the waterfall area.

You will also cross over the border from Austria to Germany and back on foot 👌 Kinda cool.

I highly recommend this place to families who both want to experience something together, plus get a little...

How can this awesome place be given anything less than a 5. It's FREE! (And amazing) the official car park is about 4km out of Germany on the Austrian side through Leutasch and all day parking is €5. The gorge walk starts from the carpark and you wander along a wooded path for about 5 minutes or so first. The length of the gorge is walked on a very well maintained steel platform along the cliff face. There are 2 fantastic points where the platforms bridge across the gorge (photo opportunities aplenty). You can eventually loop back to the carpark by taking the path back through the woods after crossing the last bridge, or you can turn around and walk back through the gorge. The loop is just under 2 easy miles. Child friendly though not for pushchairs (it does stipulate this ) as there are steps going up to the bridges and the walkway is narrow. A spectacular way to spend a...

The best hiking sport for those who love nature! I saw someone share at tiktok about this beautiful waterfall and I wanna try to see myself. Arrived here around 9.30am finished it around 1.30pm. Bear with me, I'm not fit person so I took rest a lot. There are 2 trails, you can choose to use walking metal trail or use forest trail like. I choose forest trail then another junction choose right direct to panorama bridge. After that I wanna see that waterfall so have to climb again then go down so many level until you reached ground. Have cute cafe there so can buy drinks and rest. After that pay 5€ per person to see that waterfall then walking back again. Is worth it but a bit tired for me. But you love nature can try it! Entrance fee: nil Parking fee: 6€/car Waterfall trail fee: 5€/person
