It's hard to call it zoo, it's more like a farm with a twist. Goats and donkeys plus kangaroos and deers. The twist is when you leave the main area and start wandering uphill to the ruins of old castle. The whole, really big area, is for animals freely roaming around (don't worry only harmful ones, like mountain goats and alike) If your lucky you may see lynx or jackal in their enclosures. Kids friendly. They can feed the goats or play in the playground. Restaurant with garden only.

This is a very beautiful wildpark! In my opinion you can go there with your kids. It's a clean ZOO and the people are friendly! You can see a lot of animals who lived in the woods normally (hirschen und steinbocken etc.) You walks there between te animals you can spot them in the forrest. You can also take your dog with you! But when it's hot outside take water with you for the dog. There is not a lot of water on the park for your dog.

The park is ok. The entrance fee and the prices in the restaurant are slightly above average. One big plus point is that you can feed the goats donkeys and deer at the beginning of the park. The animals have very spacious habitats so don't expect to see too many of them from closeby. Overall worth the experience especially if you are a tourist and happen to be in the area. Time you will need to visit the park: approximately 2 to 3 hours.

This natural park is something original and incredible. It is absolutely not like a zoo but a voyage into the nature with the possibility to meet animals. Adults and children will be astonished and it will be also a great occasion to spend one day really in contact with natural life and history. On the hill there are some ruins that are so full of energy! Absolutely to go there!

Ein netter Tierpark (eher Wildpark). Für mich leider zu wenig interessante Tiere jedoch trotzdem ein sehr schönes, empfehlenswertes Ausflugsziel. Gastro mit Selbstbedienung und ein toller Kinderspielplatz sind vorhanden. Viele Tiere sind sehr zutraulich. Das Wild kommt bis zum Zaun und kann gefüttert werden. Die Gehege sind alle schön und in sehr guten Zustand. 29.04.2022 Wie schon letztes mal berichtet, wenig wirklich interessante Tiere. Das Gehege der Schakale ist scheinbar unbewohnt. Die Gehege sind alle sehr groß und gepflegt jedoch ( für mich und meine Familie) eher langweilig und einige Tiere scheinbar sehr einsam (Esel, Luchs) Ein Highlight ist jedoch der Spielplatz und die Kleintiere gleich daneben. Trotzdem kann ich dieses Ausflugsziel weiter empfehlen. Ein Rundgang lohnt sich allemal da die Eintrittspreise nicht so hoch sind und auch die Kärnten Card akzeptiert wird. Auch die Imbissstube ist empfehlenswert! Essen ist gut und nicht teuer.

Ein sehr schöner Tierpark mit mit einheimischen Tieren und einem kleinen Spielplatz. Alles ist sehr sauber und die Tiere machen einen gepflegten Eindruck. Die Kinder können Rehe, Ziegen, Esel und Schafe füttern und streicheln. (Eine Tüte Futter kostet 2€ an der Kasse) Danach geht es bergauf und man sollte dafür festes Schuhwerk anhaben, um bis zur Burgruine auf der Bergspitze zu gelangen. Latschen oder Flipflops sind da nicht ratsam. Unterwegs begegnen einem freilaufende Steinböcke und Pfauen. Wenn man auf der Rückseite der Ruine Richtung Tal geht, wird es etwas abenteuerlich. Spätestens dort freut man sich über das feste Schuhwerk. Anschließend geht es noch in das Labyrinth wo man mit der Wörthersee Plus Karte Rabatt bekommt. Der Tierpark und das Labyrinth ist den Eintritt auf jeden Fall wert und bestens für einen kleinen Familienausflug geeignet. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
