Glemmtaler Baumzipfelweg — Attraction in Saalbach-Hinterglemm

Visiting Glemmtaler Baumzipfelweg was an amazing experience 🌲🌉. The suspension bridge and the surrounding scenery make you feel like you’re truly in the heart of nature. The trail is well-organized and safe, offering peaceful walks with breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains and forests.

It’s beautiful in both summer with the greenery, and in winter when the snow transforms the area into a magical landscape. There was almost no waiting time at the entrance, and everything was well managed.

I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the region—it’s a unique and unforgettable experience, especially for nature lovers and photography...

What an amazing experience, a must to go to and walk on the largest walk bridge in Europe during the summer.

Things to consider Get snacks or eat prior to arrival, the food is limited there, and not the best selections. You can park next to the place or hike up around 3 km The road is a single file so be cautious as you need to drive up there.

It cost around 11 euros for one person to enter and 9 euros for the machine by the side of the kiosk if they are on holiday or...

Aangezien de pistes momenteel in de middag tegenvallen door het warme weer hebben we vanmiddag naar een alternatieven bezigheid gezocht. Ik heb mijn vriendin meegesleept zonder te zeggen wat we precies gingen doen.

Eenmaal bij de brug aangekomen was het duidelijk wat we gingen doen. Bij de ingang geld gewisseld voor muntgeld, waarmee we vervolgens onze entree in de automaat konden kopen. In andere reviews wordt gesproken over dat dit lastig of helemaal niet zou werken, zo hebben wij het niet ervaren. Omdat wij bijna de automaat voor het wisselen en de entree voorbij liepen heb ik ze even toegevoegd aan deze review.

Eenmaal binnen waren we tot onze verbazing helemaal alleen, dat was tof!

Rustig foto’s kunnen maken op de brug en het kind in ons de ruimte kunnen geven bij de verschillende spelletjes die we op de route tegen kwamen.

Uiteindelijk nog iets gaan drinken in de alm naast de ingang, waarna we terug zijn gelopen naar de parkeerplaats.
