FlyTandem - Paragliding Salzburg — Attraction in Salzburg

A Must Do Adventure when in Salzburg,Austria is Tandem Paragliding!!!

My mum and I signed up via email. Daniela answered my email instantly. She kept in touch as we needed to make sure the weather was good on the day of our flight. She answered all our questions promptly. Daniela was fabulous!

On top of Geisberg, we met Wolfgang Schweinsteiger and Andres Villamizar. Both are highly trained professionals! They were very friendly and each had a great sense of humour.

My mum had Andres as her instructor/pilot. He is 2nd in World's Paragliding Acrobatics! He was so kind and protective over her. Woldgang was my instructor/pilot. He was amazing as well! Both instructors explained everything thoroughly. Safety was their top priority!

There were clouds for an hour or so. So we did some Para Waiting. We never gave up. We just waited it out until we had a large break in the clouds.

It was the most spectacular adventure ever!!!! I am terrified of heights but you are so in awe of the exquisite scenery that the fear melts away. It is an exhilarating and freeing feeling!!! The pilots talk to you during the flight and they also take videos of your adventure!

Landing was easy...raise your legs and slide on your butt.

Both of us had a great time. Age is not a factor; my mum is 85 years old!!!!!!

One of the most exhilarating experience of my life ,made even more memorable by the team of FlyTandem. This team consists of the most professional and thorough gentlemen pilots. The entire activity was handled with thorough professionalism. The process of booking was extremely easy and simple. Once booked,we were kept informed throughout by email about our date and other details of how to reach the location, what to wear,what medication to take if we feel nauseous etc. Even the bus ticket is complementary to reach the location. The briefing before the flight was quick and covered all aspects. The takeoff and the flight itself was breathtaking and exciting and felt extremely safe with the professional pilots. The sights of Salzburg from that height was just great. The classic package is about 10 to 20 minutes and is good for first timers but with good winds you can upgrade during flight for more time. They also take you through extreme twists and turns if you have the stomach for it. These pilots are fun loving people who are living their passion and make you feel so comfortable. They also filmed the entire flight on the GoPro cameras which was provided to us for a small fee. It's a lifetime experience so better opt for the video and photographs. I would recommend this experience for every adventure sports enthusiasts and also those who have never thought of...

August the first i booked my first paragliding activity ever with flytandem ! And i was lucky enough to have this experience with you guys, I couldn’t ask for more

I went to another location by mistake and this location is an one hour ride by car from the original location yet, when I contacted you guys asking when you will be here you told me that i am at the wrong meeting point but you made the effort and came to me at my point and that was nice of you , you could have just told me to come to your location That day was my birthday and a paragliding activity with you!! Was the best gift i could ask for , each one of the team was super polite and nice . It took you 2 hours to come to my location but all i got from your team was a smile and an excited attitude which was surprising to me and i was super happy that the misunderstanding didn’t bother you .
