Gleinkersee — Attraction in Spital am Pyhrn

A beautiful lake situated between the mountains in Upper Austrian province. Surrounded by pine trees. It’s really a wonderful place to visit. It has a beautiful walking path with which you can take a short hike around the lake approx 30 minutes.

Beautiful lake. Went swimming, ate at the restaurant next to it which had some delicious food and then went hiking under 2 hours to dümlerhütte to spend the night there. Climbed up to the Rode Wand with spectacular views the following day and went back down to Gleinkersee. There is also a rope you can swing yourself into the lake with. You will find it if you follow the path...

Ich habe einen Wunderschönen Tag am Gleinkersee verbracht. Ein Stück Paradies auf Erden, gute wander und sitzmöglichkeiten. Der See ist nah an den Parkplätzen und auch für Menschen mit Behinderung gut und einfach erreichbar. Ein Romantischer Ort. Das schwimmen ist nicht gestattet. Würde auf jeden fall wieder hingehen. Vom Bahnhof Station Windischgarsten 10 minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Ohne Auto etwas schwer erreichbar. Die hinfahrt aber auf jedenfall wert. Es gibt einen grill dort, bin mir nicht sicher aber glaube das man was zahlen muss, da ein Restaurant nebenan ist und ich denke, dass es ein Teil des Restaurants ist. Es hat ein wenig geregnet, hat uns aber nicht gestört da wir regenschirme mit hatten. Etwas kühl da oben auch im sommer daher eine Jacke mitnehmen ist zu empfehlen. Auf jeden fall 5 von 5...
