Thumersbach Park — Attraction in Zell am See

I had the pleasure of visiting Thumersbach Park today, and it was an absolute delight! The warm weather added to the charm of this picturesque park, making it a perfect destination for families and nature enthusiasts alike.

One of the first things that caught my attention was the abundance of free car parking spaces available. It's always a relief to find convenient parking, and Thumersbach Park exceeded my expectations in this regard.

As I explored the park, I was captivated by the breathtaking views of the lake. The scenery was truly mesmerizing, offering a serene and tranquil ambiance. It's the ideal place to relax, unwind, and appreciate the beauty of nature.

Great place to relax on a nice day. You can use the pool or swim in the lake, with showers available for afterwards. There is a nice lakeside bar which served a basic menu. You can rent umbrellas and chairs (but not loungers). There is a discount if you have a Zell-Kaprun pass but it's not a big one. Great picnicking area and free lake access, situated directly next to the Thumersberger public pool (entrance fee!).

Contrary to the fenced-off public pool, the park area offers ample of space for resting, charges no entrance fee and features breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
