My recent dining experience at this restaurant was incredibly disappointing. While the food was enjoyable, the restaurant's practices left a lot to be desired. To start, my friends and I found plastic foil in our butter, which was a serious safety concern that the staff tried to brush off with a shot of schnaps. Furthermore, we were charged for the "famous bush" that was allegedly on the house and not requested, and we were misled about the menu options. We were promised the "gentleman's cut of beef" in the three-course meal, but were charged an additional 10 euros for it. To top it off, the restaurant advertised lower prices on their website, but when we arrived, we were charged significantly more than what was displayed. The discrepancy left a sour taste in our mouths and a sense of dishonesty on the part of the restaurant. All of these issues made for an unpleasant dining experience and tarnished what was supposed to be a special occasion. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant

A pleasant enough stay with a few drawbacks. The residence have a few house rules including when you can actually check in (after 4pm), you are supplied a kitchen cleaning kit where upon check out the receptionist will come to the apartment to inspect before returning the 300 euro deposit. For a hotel and the price paid, over S$800 for 2 nights I expected less rules and more wow. The hotel it is linked to is closed at this time of year (end of March) so there are almost zero amenities, facilities to be enjoyed. The view was fantastic - a huge mountain and the town of Zill am See - this can not be argued. The apartment was well furnished and they supplied a crib but at a cost of 35 euro - whereas hotels give them for free. Personally I would not stay there again.

Stayed here with 30 other people in several apartements during a week. Spectacular view on Zell am See and Schmittehohe. Apartements very luxurious. Clean, nice furniture. Sauna and panorama terrace. Garage and heated ski depot. 15 minutes drive to center of Zell am See, Schmittehohe gondola and Kaprun/ Kitsteinhorn gondola. Supermarkets in less than 5 minutes drive. Will visit again with friends or family.

This review refers to the 4 bedroom apartment with two terraces. ||||Location - on the other side of the lake from Zell am See town. About 10 minutes drive to town. Not many amenities nearby. Ok if you have a car and don't mind driving everywhere but less convenient if you are using public transport. ||||The apartment was spacious, and the views were amazing. However, it was pretty expensive and is marketed as a luxury accommodation, so our expectations were quite high. Given that, there were quite a few niggles that impact the rating. ||||PROS||Beautiful views||Large terrace||Spacious||Well equipped kitchen||Comfortable||Underground parking garage||Lift straight from garage to apartment||Quite new and in relatively good condition||||CONS||Poor service from reception – person on reception not very knowledgeable or helpful. On arrival she insisted repeatedly that our apartment had only one dedicated parking space. I explained that the booking specifically confirmed two spaces and that I had this in writing but she would not accept it. This dispute was only resolved when we went together to check the garage (which was a strange suggestion in itself) and found two spaces reserved for our apartment. No apology given. Later we had problems using the oven. No instructions were provided in the apartment and the receptionist was not able to help. I requested her to obtain instructions, but she never got back to us. We really struggled as it was a combined oven and microwave and wasn’t easy to figure out.||||DVD – I enquired before arrival whether the TV had internet connection or if there was a DVD player. I was told no internet or dvd. Then I was told that there was indeed a DVD so I specially purchased some movies on dvd to bring with us. On arrival, there was no cable to connect the dvd player, but the TV did have an internet connection. After requesting a cable several times we eventually got one on the last day of our 6 night stay so could not watch the dvds I’d brought. ||||Housekeeping – . Very minimal and not very consistent. Some days the beds were made and others not, some days in one room and not the others. Also they came very late in the day which was inconvenient. Some toiletries and cleaning products were provided but nowhere near enough for the number of people or length of stay. Toiletries were not replenished. Such amenities are not always provided in self-catered accommodation, however if they are then it makes sense to at least provide adequate amount for the number of guests. Given that the cost per night per person was equivalent to a four star hotel and that the property is marketed as ‘luxury’ with some corresponding amenities such as bathrobes and slippers provided, then it just looked sloppy to not provide enough toiletries or replenish them. ||||Bathrooms – In the 4 bedroom apartment there are only 2 bathrooms, and one of them is ensuite between 2 bedrooms. So only one bathroom has easy access for the rooms that don’t access the ensuite. Not great for 8 people. Note also the main bathroom has a bath, but the ensuite is just a shower.||||Bedroom furniture and Storage – Of the 4 bedrooms, two had no hanging space at all and the only storage was drawers. Another room had lots of hanging space but no drawers or shelves so there was nowhere to put sweaters, underwear etc. The room had no bedside table or other surface space either, so there was nowhere to put anything down other than the floor! We had to bring a side table from the terrace to put our glasses, watches, jewellery and general bits and bobs. This was strange as there was a big empty space which would have been ideal for a chest of drawers. We stayed almost a week and had a lot of clothes to store so it was pretty inconvenient. Also there was nowhere to store luggage other than in the hallway. Strangely, there were random items in some of the cupboards, like a backpack and a set of crutches, so not all storage space was usable.||||TV - there was a tv in two of the four bedrooms. Not necessarily a problem but awkward when sharing and some people get one and others don't. I would put a tv in all the bedrooms or not in any. As mentioned, when you're paying top hotel prices it wouldn't be too much to expect a tv in each bedroom in any case as this is pretty much standard these days even in cheaper hotels and...

I recently stayed at Residence Bellevue, Seeuferstraße 43, 5700 Zell am See, Austria, expecting a 4-star experience, but what I encountered was an utter disaster that no reputable establishment should dare to call “luxury.” My booking was made well in advance for 4 guests and I anticipated a smooth, comfortable visit. Instead, my stay was riddled with negligence, inflexibility, and a complete disregard for guest welfare.||Our check-in was scheduled for 29th August, and shockingly, it was only a few hours before our arrival that we were informed—via a poorly timed email—that the check-in office was not at the property but miles away at Peter Buchnerstrasse 2, 5710 Kaprun. This critical information was withheld until the last possible moment, showing a blatant lack of respect for our time and comfort. After an exhausting journey from Munich Airport, which included a 2.5-hour road trip, we were forced to detour to a different location to collect keys. To add insult to injury, we were participating in an Ironman event and were carrying large bike bags, making this unnecessary detour all the more stressful and infuriating.||The incompetence didn’t end there. Despite our prior communication with the hotel—a full week before our stay—requesting to store our bike bags upon arrival, we were met with rigid, thoughtless policies that refused to accommodate our simple request. We were curtly informed that nothing could be done until the official check-in time. This was not just inconvenient; it was a complete failure of basic customer service.||After enduring this horrendous start, we had hoped for at least a modicum of flexibility after completing the grueling Ironman event. But no. Even when we requested a late check-out by just an hour on humanitarian grounds, explaining that we would be utterly exhausted, the hotel management displayed an appalling lack of empathy. They stubbornly clung to their policy of charging extra euros for any deviation from their rigid rules, utterly indifferent to the well-being of their guests.||This experience was not just disappointing—it was disgraceful. The level of incompetence and indifference displayed by Residence Bellevue is utterly unacceptable for any establishment, let alone one that dares to brand itself as 4-star. The management’s failure to communicate vital details, their inflexibility, and their complete disregard for guest comfort and needs are nothing short of shameful.||I strongly urge potential guests to reconsider before booking this property. Based on my experience, this is a place where guest satisfaction is clearly not a priority, and the so-called "luxury" is nothing more than a facade. Residence Bellevue should be thoroughly embarrassed by the appalling service...

Bad experience, reception available for two hours a day from 8 am until 10am only , We arrived Saturday at approx 6 pm driving from Vienna so no one was there to check-in. We contact a number we found on a paper sticked on an open door who asked us to drive 10 minutes to Kaprun to check in. No one come to hand over the flat, they give us a flat on the second floor and the trees was blocking the view though our reservation was precisely for the view. The shed in the balcony was not working so we could not open it. Be careful of the spiders there were lots of them under the bed and under the cupboards. We contacted them again but we received rude reply not to contact unless emergency!!! They told us no body can do anything until Monday . We asked them to shift us to the upper level and falsely they said they are full . It was very clear no one in the building except us and another family . They asked us to pay more but we told them we already paid for the view in our reservation.|On Monday , and after a strong talk they shifted us to the upper apartment finally . |We have to clean the apartment by our self from spiders, their water kettle will close the electric if we start it and toaster was also not working but the communication with them is useless once they receive their money.|I don’t...
