We had no idea what we were going to do when our ship docked for the day because of the range of reviews. We decided to take the tram to Paradise Beach to put distance between us and the other beaches closer to the Port. Best decision! Craven and his crew set us up with an umbrella and drinks immediately. You can also rent 2 chairs or a cabana but we had 3 adults and a beach blanket ready, just needed the umbrella. Another gentleman came down the beach with fresh coconuts and made an amazing drink right in front of us. Read moreI love, love, love this quiet and tranquil place! I visited this small, quaint island back in March 2024, and I will definitely like to return. I enjoyed the breeze, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, and the stunning sun blazing on the water. I learned that this is the place where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. visited to write his speech for the Nobel Peace Prize. That was awesome! Also, there is a place called the Fountain of Youth that I would love to visit next time. The locals were friendly, and the food was delicious. Read moreThis MSC Cruise Line island is beautiful in nearly every way, lacking only more mature trees to provide shade for its visitors. The integrated food and drink system that is coupled seamlessly with the onboard products makes it a wonderful place just to wander around or to sit and enjoy for the day. Just make sure to rent an umbrella until the trees get taller and more filled out.
