I'm the type that skips a lot of the popular spots thinking they are all pretty similar and also crowded. Yeah this place is crowded at low tide (the best time to go), but it also was unlike anything else we've seen so far. Definitely worth checking it out. Go at different tide to get it all to yourselves, but beware of the current and wear your fins. Lots of great reef fish and an unexpectedly large dome-shaped cave inside. Very cool space. Read moreAMAZING! A must see. You should go at low tide which happens twice per day. Low tide you can easily swim in and out of and it doesn't require you to go underwater. There is also a clearly marked rope to guide you in and out. There were fish and sea turtles chillin in the Grottto when we went at evening low tide, right after a rain storm and there were no other people there. There are a few entrances to the grotto, all of which require swimming, some underwater. Once inside, the grotto is spectacular. There are lots of fish in the corners and crevices.
