A Cinematic Gem in Nassau: Fusion Superplex IMAX Review
Our visit to the Fusion Superplex IMAX theater was an exceptional movie-going experience. From the moment we arrived, the convenience of ample free parking set a positive tone for the evening. Inside, the theater maintained a comfortable temperature, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start.
Choosing to attend a movie on a weekday turned out to be a fantastic decision, as the theater was wonderfully uncrowded. This serenity added a touch of luxury to our experience, feeling as though we had the entire place to ourselves, with just a few other patrons sharing the space.
A highlight of our visit was the in-theater dining service. Having delicious food and beverages served directly at our comfortable seats was a luxury that elevated the whole experience. Speaking of comfort, the seats themselves were plush and cozy, allowing us to settle in and fully immerse ourselves in the movie without a hint of discomfort.
The sound quality in the IMAX theater was nothing short of fantastic, enveloping us in the film's world with crystal clear, powerful audio. Additionally, the cleanliness and abundance of the bathrooms were appreciated, ensuring that even these often-overlooked details contributed to a flawless outing.
A particularly memorable touch was the stunning mural we encountered, presumably the work of the talented local artist H.E. Jamaal Rolle, located in what appeared to be a lounge or seating area. This piece of art added a unique cultural flavor to the venue, showcasing local talent and enhancing the venue's aesthetic appeal.
In conclusion, the Fusion Superplex IMAX in Nassau is not just a place to watch a movie; it's a venue that offers a comprehensive, enjoyable, and high-quality entertainment experience. We can't wait to return for our next...
Read moreThe customer service was excellent pre-covid but it totally went downhill. I don't know what happened, why the staff got so relaxed but it will be detrimental to business especially if and when the competition arises again. For example, I went to watch a movie with my children, we were about 5 minutes later than I wanted to be and people were sitting in our seats. Once before, the staff guided persons to their seats which avoided this. The movie was packed and the only seats available was at the screen. So I get out and tell them that they needed to change our movie, which they did for an hour later showing. I figured we'd have dinner at the restaurant until then. I preferred to be inside since I have two toddlers but was told the other restaurant was for a more finer dining experience and the outdoor one was more appropriate from someone I later found out just started working there. We get to our seats(those white plastic chairs), I seat all the children and then when I sat down, it was in a chair full of water!!!!! I was angry and totally annoyed! I let the server know and she goes "oh I'm sorry about that". I had to go all the way home and change! I called customer service on my way to tell them about my horrible experience and was transferred to the food and beverage manager who apologized and promised to call back which she never did! Last night I was served by one dribbly mouth young man that actually stood there rubbing his lips as he asked for my order at the concession stand. Then proceeded to use that same hand to get people's food meanwhile another cashier stood cleaning under her acrylic nails and one complained about even being there. Y'all gotta do better with these people, I hardly go out and would prefer to not have the ghetto...
Read moreFamily oriented. There's a lot for families to do from dining, playing games, adventurous fun in the activity playground room and watching a movie.
Theater: I enjoy PURE VIP! The curry chicken was decent and the cheesecake was delightful. The other theaters were clean and seats were just as comfortable as PURE. There are letters on the ground at each row to help find your seat printed on the ticket receipt.
Children’s Activities: My children love the game and playroom. These are both separate rooms. There is two areas for the game room, one upstairs and downstairs. Borht game room is appropriate for ages 3+. Several slides and lots of climbing. Younger kids can be supervised in a section in the playroom where they have pull toy activities.
Food: Wheeew the pizza($9) is premier and delicious. They definitely did skimp on the quality. Curry chicken at PURE VIP was superb. Food is moderately priced at Fusion. I enjoyed the lemonade. The trays given are sturdy and I love that it comes with pockets where the food + drinks can be secured.
There’s so many rooms that can be rented for children’s parties, meetings etc.
Cleanliness: Always clean and smells fresh. Bathrooms are clean. Rugs are well kept as well!
Ticket prices are moderately priced as well, with children tickets being under $10 and adults $16.
Staff is always hospitable and welcoming. I love the option of gift certificates too. I often Purchase them for my husband so he can treat hisself. Overrall I rate the customer service 8/10 and Fusion is the leading entertainment place that’s family oriented in...
