I found this place to be hell on earth. Disorganized and barely functioning. As a student, it's extremely difficult to be prepared for anything this institution could throw at you but it prepares you for life. The lecturers here are a hit and miss but generally are concerned about the students wellbeing, both inside and outside of the classroom (speaking for the business lecturers that I was fortunate to have). This institution will teach you that life isn't easy and it's always best to have a plan B for your plan B. It has prepared me for my working life and really taught me stress management skills and how to prepare for unpredictable.

Read moreI love this school, and it really is the haven of academia on this island. It's surreal approaching this place, knowing it is where conversations not seen anywhere else, such as Reparations, Science, and Research happen, while surrounded by evidence of all the harms wrought by climate change, colonialism, and inequality. The school has done a great job being a place where I feel comfortable talking about how messed up things can be in our world. I just wish it would go a little further.

Read moreMy son had his first in person class/practice at UB today. This morning he had to take a Rapid Antigen Test in order to attend the class. The process was smooth and he was in and out of the testing area in less that 20 minutes. He took his test at 8:57am and got his results by 9:15am.
