Cumilla City Park — Attraction in Chattogram Division

Cumilla City Park one of the major recreation area..where a lot of people of different ages come to spend their leisure time in happy attitude & feeling..It's a place standing on the bank of large Dharmasagar Lake with some institution on it's southern side like Ranikhuthir, Nazrul Institute with an auditorium,a primary school & another mid size lake on it's northen side,on the bank of which, there is main Administrative Office(Deputy Comissioner's Office & District Treasury Office).On it's western side there stands District's main Police Office (Superintendent of Police,district's main Police Officer) & on it's eastern side..there stands Cumilla's main stadium... The park get it's life with peoples in very early in the morning..I used to go there at early in the morning at 6-00 am with a zeal to do my morning speedy walking exercise under the Greeny long trees having my lungs fill with Oxygen of morning pure breeze.. 15 min. later I join Free Hand Exercise Group(Vorer Pakhi means Morning Birds) for another half an hour.After than I place my 20 min.time in favour of an Yoga Team(alpha team) to ease my joints,muscles,tendon & ligaments of my acral areas)..It made my mind,body & soul work together with a new life...I chant after that time my obsession Rabindranath Tagore's(our world poet & composer of our national anthem) song...নুতন প্রাণ দাও হে প্রাণসখা, আজি প্রভাতে..means Please give me a new life, hey our Creator,at this morning.. This place is commonly known as DSP or Dharma Sagor Par among the locals. It is actually an amusement park beside a pretty large pond named Dharma Sagor.Here you don't have to pay any fee for entering into the park. But if you want to ride on something than you have to buy tickets. I personally love the swinging boat, going up and down,making you feel that all air in your lungs are blown away while gowing down suddenly. I remember I screamed loudly out of fear. But it was enjoyable a lot. Here most rides are for children actually. So they would get the most pleasant experience. But if you are an adult and don’t like to ride on toy horse or boat, you can simply have a walk. There is a nice lane by the pond for walk. You can also enjoy fuchka,velpuri,guava chatni,candy floss etc. while walking. If you are tired or sad and just don’t have the mood to walk,you can sit by the pond and enjoy the nature. Gentle breeze blows there always and looking at the waves of pond never makes you bored. The ambience is really serene. Nowadays, DSP is getting popular more and more among people. While it is a good news for the businessmen there, it’s a disadvantage to the people who come here to relax and enjoy serenity. But above all,you will love this place after...

A Remarkable place in our beloved city 'Cumilla'. An ideal place for spending some family time & the amusement park is the bonus for your kids so that they can get entertained & feel happy. There are several different types of rides installed in here, which wasn't available a few years back. Your kids can get entertained by experiencing those rides, though some of these are not suitable for carrying elderlies.
