Hare Krishna.ISKCON temple is a centre of excellence.Swamibagh,Dhaka is a greater campus.Presently Seba Puja preaching offerings are going on full sewing.Rathayatra,Janmastami,Gourpurnima,Chandanyatra,Deepdan etc.are celebrated with greatest spectreme.When those program is celebrated the entire compound is covered with Tripal for the convenient of huge devotees.AC VOKTIBEDANTA SWAMI PROBHUPAD founded ISKCON.THE inscription of Lord Chaitannya "Prithibite joto ache nogoradi gram,sorbotro prochar hoibe more namx"I e Horinam.To materialise this vision PROBHUPADA went from door to door,country to country.He sacrificed his life for preaching of Krishna.May Krishna bless him. There is a nut mondir & a gorvo mandir.Mahaprasadam is distributed everyday in due time.Mahaprasadam are of divine taste.Govindas ' restaurant are there.It is open from 7 am to 9 pm.Everyone can take prasadam from here,however it is chargeable. The central temple of Bangladesh ISKCON is the Swamibagh Ashram. It is a temple of Lord Krishna managed by ISKCON. This temple has idols of "Lord Radha Govinda", "Jagannath Baladev Subhadra Maharani", "Gaura Nitai", "Devadideva Mahadev", and "Goddess Kali". There is also a statue of Acharya A C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON. There are daily "Mangal Aarti" at 4.30 am, "Guru Puja & Darshan Aarti" at 7.30 am, "Bhog & Darshan Aarti" at 12 noon, "Darshan Aarti" at 4 pm and "Sandhya Aarti" in the evening. . There are also daily "Shrimad Bhagavat" readings and *Hare Krishna" Mahamantra chanting classes. Rath Yatra is the biggest festival of Swamibag temple. This event lasts for about 9 days. The chariot(Rath) leaves the Swamibagh temple and travels about 8 km to Dhakeswari temple. 3-4 lakh devotees gather here on Rath day alone. A month-long Damodar festival is celebrated here in October-November. There is a small, but immensely attractive restaurant called GOPALA ; extremely arestrocated. Nevertheless, the quality of product is very good,where cost is very reasonable. In this time, the temple is in under reconstitution with a large place.
