Singair Mosque is the largest and one of the oldest single-domed mosques in Bangladesh and an aesthetically unique architectural style. It is located in Sundarghona village of Sadar upazila of Bagerhat district. It is about 500 years old mosque and an archaeological site. Khulna Bagerhat is located a little southeast of the famous Sixty Domed Mosque along the highway. The general features of this mosque are similar to the sixty-domed mosque. The mosque was built by Ulukh Khan Jahan Ali during the Mughal period in the fifteenth century. On the front wall of the mosque means on the east side wall there are three doors in a row at a fixed distance. There is one door each in north and south. Inside the mosque is an ornate mihrab. The brick walled mosque has decorative burnt clay designs inside. This square mosque measures 12.42 m per side. The thickness of the wall is 2.13 m. There are four round towers at the four corners of the mosque. On October 2, 1975, this mosque was declared a protected antiquities. The mosque has no inscription by which it can be dated.Architect Abu Sayeed M Ahmed estimates that it is from the 15th century.Other experts believe, based on the known ages of stylistically similar local buildings, that it was built in the mid-15th century. There is archaeological evidence that at one time the mosque compound was surrounded by a wall with towers at the corners and an entrance gate on the east.

Banglapedia describes the mosque's condition in the early 1970s as "in utter ruin". The government's Department of Archaeology took over the site in 1975. In 1984, archaeologist Johanna E. van Lohuizen de Leeuw wrote that the building had been partly restored, but "its corner towers are still in a shocking state".The Mosque City of Bagerhat, of which Singar Mosque is a part, was inscribed on the list of World Heritage Sites in 1985.The mosque was rated as being in a "fair state of preservation"...

The mosque is located at the opposite of the Sixty domes mosque. It was just a minute of walking distance from Sixty domes mosque. It is a square shaped mosque having an one large dome at the top. It is totally unknown about the builder of the mosque. But, it is guessed from the architecture that the mosque is from the 15th century (which means a contemporary of Sixty domes mosque ). This mosque has three entrances at the Eastern side of the wall (middle one is slightly larger). And it has a single entrance at the Northern and Southern side's wall. At the four corners of the mosque it has four thick and round shaped Mughal architecture column. The Mosque is currently functioning and people use to pray here regularly.
