Sadly I used to love this beach but a few months ago they reopened the beach bar as a private members club. So even though the beach is public the Westmorland beach club has taken over part of it. For some reason they believe they can put their chairs on the public beach area to stop the public using it. Come on Barbardos authorities you have destroyed the lovely beach Mullins was to allow only a few to be able to to enjoy it. I heard so many people staying in the area who were feeling very disappointed and also the locals must be loosing money from lack of visitors. I wouldn't return again to be told I was not allowed to sit on part of the public beach because I wasn't a member of the clubhouse. Read moreThis beach was my daughter and my favorite beach during our stay. It’s a fairly small beach that is somewhat protected with a semicircle bay. The waves can get pretty high closer to sunset. There are some rocky patches to watch out for but mostly a very calm and relaxing ride. There are water sports vendors that will sometimes be at the beach. Small beach that can feel even smaller during high season as this is the Royal Westmoreland beach for the residents in the complex. Plenty of chairs, gets quite busy in season.
