It’s a fantastic bay right in front of the abandoned Four Seasons Resort. Easy to reach with public transports, you can access there from Batts Rock Beach or walking through Paradise Villas. If you need some shade, you must go to one of the sides of the bay. Southern side you find palms and on northern sides there are huge mango trees. Be careful to the manchineel trees, because there poisonous and cause blistering (you can recognise them by a red ring around the trunk or from the small yellow/green apples). We were there around sunset yesterday when a young lad jumped out of the bushes running along the beach and snatched my partner’s handbag. He ran into the shrubs, but was somehow persuaded by a plea to return the bag with our mobile phones still in it. He did take most of our cash though. No massive harm done at the end of the day, I think this was just a young kid a bit out of his depth. Exercise extra caution with valuables. Perhaps not the best spot for sunset...
