Silver Moon Catamaran Cruises — Attraction in undefined

What a day, it was absolutely fabulous!!! Our best day of the holiday

Collected from our hotel and taken to port where we were greeted by the Silver Moon Charters staff. We felt like royalty right from stepping out of the taxi.

The catamaran is so impressive, spotlessly clean, lots and lots of room so no need to jostle for space, loads of areas to sit, sunbathe, relax, chill out etc.

The food was delicious (I'm coeliac so needed gluten free, this was well catered for). We had booked the XL Adults Sunset Cruise, not that we don't like kids, but our youngest has just turned 19 (we're a family of 4, my husband and I, and our 2 daughters) so we opted for the adult one - just because we can :-)

Drinks flowed freely. The crew literally pandered to everybody's needs.

Prior to going on board I was a bit cautious at first, not having great 'sea-legs' I wasn't sure how I would fare, but the catamaran was so smooth, I honestly didn't have a problem (no nausea or motion sickness whatsoever).

The atmosphere was just right, local reggae music playing in the background, definitely NOT a 'booze cruise' - that said, Captain Luke and the crew were friendly, funny, chatty, informative, and certainly did all they could to encourage everyone to feel relaxed and enjoy their time aboard the Silver Moon.

We swam with the turtles (amazing), swam down to the shipwreck (I didn't,my daughters did!), then enjoyed our delicious meal while the sun was setting, anchored just off the West Coast, before setting off back to port.

This cruise is a real treat. I can't recommend it highly enough and would like to thank Silver Moon Charters for their level of service. You deserve the positive ratings and comments that I had read which encouraged me to book with you in the first place -...

A friend of mine visited Barbados a week prior and highly recommended Silvermoon. So from start we were excitedd. Our Boat crew and even the staff when booking were phenomenal. We were very excited for the experience as it was 8 people 4 couples celebrating everything a honeymoon, Birthday, Wedding anniversary and Softball championship. Food was decent, drinks were fair, after several we didnt even have a buzz. To enhance experience we requestes music, we were initially told they couldn't turn on music because there were 4 others from a different culture. So we asked them to see what they wanted to hear. After while the crew played music but the captain kept demanding it remain at a low balance. I didn't snorkel at the first stop, anticipating to snorkel at the ship wreck in which we never got to experience. This was advertised and purchased as an adult only catamaran. Unfortunately we were made to feel like children. We've traveled acrossed the continent, but sadly this was by far thee worst catermaren cruise ever - as they ( the captain) was to worried about a black versus white experience- when he should have allowed the crew to create a fun filled ALL inclusive environment. We all paid alot of money, not only to come to barbados 🇧🇧 and experience the culture and country. Unfortunately not only was it a dry experience but kind of demeaning and discriminatory.Had we known we couldn't have gotten a private cruise with Seaduced for a little bit...

We booked the 5 hour lunch cruise on the Silver Moon 3 through their website following many recommendations from a Barbados traveler’s Facebook group.

From the moment the taxi driver picked us up from our Airbnb and brought us to the marina, we knew we were in for an amazing day out. We were immediately escorted on to the catamaran after our arrival. There were a total of 3 couples on the catamaran plus the few crew members. Everyone had plenty of space to find an area and settle in comfortably for the day. To an extent, it almost felt like a private charter. You could see other catamarans were much more packed and looked more like touristy/party boat rides (which is great if that's what you want). We set off and the crew announced the bar was open. We had a superb selection of drinks and finger foods on our way to 1 of 2 snorkeling stops. They served us a tasty buffet style Bajan lunch which was better than most of the food we had on the island. We love soca music and appreciated that the crew played a selection of songs we requested. They also kept the drinks flowing and treated us to some delicious banana bread as we sailed back.

We had an exceptional trip from beginning to end. Every aspect deserves 5 stars. So if you are looking for a luxury catamaran experience, we would definitely recommend Silver Moon Catamaran Cruises. It is a more costly option than others, but it is...
