Is one my favorites in May was this amazing blue. Sometimes is very mud the colors, others is frozen but ever is a brathtaking.

Iceland’s ultimate mood ring of waterfalls. this place is like Mother Nature’s magic trick, shifting colors all year! I’m still shook by how different it looks every season.

Those unreal colors come from mineral-rich glacial water—it literally changes with the light and weather.

Is a place with parking lot, very easy for walk, and have 🚾 and a good restaurant with buffet of soups or food with small store of souvenirs.

Pair Barnafoss with its neighbor, Hraunfossar (a short walk away!). It’s a series of delicate cascades seeping through lava fields—like nature’s secret plumbing.

All trails here are short and safe, perfect for kids or lazy hikers

Whether you’re a hardcore nature nerd or just want to stare at pretty water, Barnafoss delivers.

It’s proof that Iceland never runs out of wow. Pack your boots, your camera, and your...

Not one of the grandest waterfalls in Iceland but certainly beautiful, nonetheless. You can take the trails all around and explore freely, no matter what time of day. It's not an enclosed area so there is no time limit for you to explore. You have a great vantage point when the sun is out because then the many colors of the waterfall come alive. There is also a surprising amount of flora and fauna here. Parking is free and there is a cafe just off the trail. If you want to use the bathroom there, you will have to pay if you are not a customer of the cafe. When I visited it was around 2 ISK. Warning about the insects. If it is hot when you are visiting this place, bring bug repellent and a protective head net. The "flies" known as midges, will come out and "get" you. They can really swarm depending on the season and...

Barnafoss waterfall in Iceland located 15 minutes of drive from Husavell - popular remote touristic place in Iceland.

If you are looking for a pleasant getaway remote travel experience - Barnafoss is a perfect small gem. You can explore it within 20-30 minutes by walking along specially constructed pathways and take many photos of breathtaking views to the waterfall.

There is a dark legend behind the waterfall connected with two kids who runaway from their mother and the rapid waters took them over. So be careful and watch your steps.

Nearby there is a cafe where you can have a buffet lunch and a perfect view to the nature.

Loved the place and it’s peaceful vibes. Definitely a worthy place to visit for amazingly beautiful photos as of from fairy tales.

Your Senses Tour guide, Olena...
