Well, this one is difficult to find words for. This was a holy lost place once. Someone decided to buy it and turn it into a weird mix of a theme park, a sight and history entertainment.

So does it work out? Well, it depends...

First of all, everything is expensive. I wouldn’t dare to say overpriced, but it is absolutely expensive. The food, the drinks, even bottled water is very pricey. I don’t like that. It feels like a ripoff in the middle of nowhere.

On the other hand, the quality is good. The food tastes alright, and the drinks are really cold. The portions are okay, too, and they don’t charge extra for the toilets. I appreciate that.

The new path over the trees is absolutely not worth it. It’s too short and it’s kind of meaningless. Apart from the nice terraces and the beautiful view, there is really no reason why it should be placed on this particular area. It really is out of context.

The guides tours are okay, but I’m easily disgusted by all the simpletons who feel like real explorers, the fences, the helmets, more fences and barriers. It’s made for everyone, but making it for everyone has actually turned it into an abomination of what it had been.

You may want to visit the place in order to be part of the movie, get your immersive experience, but you more feel like you’re on a movie set. You realize that everything is staged and artificial, and it won’t come back. This is not creation, this is destruction.
