We had a great time here as two adults on a sunny Sunday, but there's probably only enough thrill rides for a one day visit, with Ride to Happiness being a particularly standout attraction. Quite busy but clean when we went. Staff friendly and spoke some English. Entry cost and express pass were very reasonable prices. Normal queue times for the thrill rides were about 15-20 minutes, although there was no queue around midday for a couple of rides on the Ride to Happiness. The water rides and children's rides had queues of up to 60 mins when we were there. The express pass was a little weird though, there are no signs and you have to find the somewhat obscure exit to the rides and often wait in inconvenient positions, getting in the way people who have finished the ride. It also felt like it was a last-minute addition to the park as this whole system didn't feel very organised and we would end up splitting up families who were waiting in the standard queue. I think this needs a rework with dedicated lanes for each ride which join the main queue near the station to resolve these issues. In terms of attractions, Ride to Happiness is absolutely fantastic, one of the best and most intense rollercoasters I've ever ridden, we went on this about 5 times. Heidi was also a good wooden rollercoaster, and Anubis has a very fast, unexpected launch which is very intense, and the rest of the ride is fun but quite rough. The two water rides are also good, but SuperSplash has a long ride back to the station after the initial and only drop. The Plop's Forest dark ride was charming too. These were the main rides you'd want to do as an adult, along with some flat rides too. Enough for one day but I wouldn't do more than one day here. The food and drinks were very expensive, with the average price around 5€ per drink. I would bring your own food and drink if possible as it was too expensive, this should be addressed by the park. On a sunny Sunday when we went, the parking situation was not great, it took 30 mins to leave the motorway and get to the car park due to the very long queues. We were finally parked in one of the overflow car parks in a field, but the traffic flow was very slow all the way through the town up to that point. Overall we had a great time and would return, especially to ride the Ride to Happiness again, but there are also some things that we would like to see improved here for the next visit.

Plopsaland De Panne is absolutely an amazing destination for families and people of all ages! I recently visited this wonderful theme park, and I'm impressed by the many positive aspects it has to offer. First and foremost, let's talk about the attractions. Plopsaland offers a wide range of rides suitable for all ages, from thrilling roller coasters to gentle carousels for the little ones. The park truly has something for everyone, and what struck me the most was the theming of the attractions. Each area has its unique atmosphere and theme, creating an enchanting experience. What sets the park apart is its attention to detail and preservation of the natural surroundings. The park is beautifully landscaped and seamlessly integrated into the natural environment of De Panne, Belgium. This creates a relaxing and atmospheric ambiance, and it's wonderful to see their commitment to environmental conservation. The staff at Plopsaland also deserve praise. They are friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. This contributes to the positive atmosphere of the park and makes the visit all the more enjoyable. Regarding dining options and facilities, the park offers a wide selection of restaurants and shops where you can enjoy delicious meals and snacks. The prices are reasonable, and the food is of good quality. Lastly, I want to emphasize that Plopsaland De Panne is suitable for all ages. Whether you are with children, teenagers, or adults, everyone will have a great time at this park. It's a fantastic place to spend quality time with friends and family. In conclusion, Plopsaland De Panne is a fantastic destination for a day out or an extended vacation. It offers a blend of excitement, relaxation, and entertainment in a beautiful setting. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a great theme park experience! 🎢

“Ticket tip, booked online” Ride to Happiness is the main reason for Plopsaland as a group of adults. Ride to Happiness is the only Mack Xtreme Spinning Coaster in Europe and probably the best rollercoaster in Europe, every ride is different and the back is the best. Plopsaland has other coasters, Heidi and Anubis are the best coaster the park offers after Ride of Happiness. Heidi is a GCI wood out and back coaster, this coaster is similar but not completely identical to White Lightning in Fun spot Orlando. Anubis is a Gerstlauer launch coaster, a great launch but a bit rough. The rest of the coasters are family/kid rides. Plopsalnd offers a lot of other flat rides making it a great day out for families. Most of the park and rides are based on Belgium Kids TV, as a tourist I had know idea what was going on. Food and drink at the park was on the pricey side for a theme park, the most expensive park I have been to in Europe other than the home of the Mouse. Overall, I had a great day at the park. It wasn't too busy for a Saturday, the big three coasters only had wait times of 20 minutes, most of the smaller rides had wait times of 40 to 50 minutes. If you are looking at Plopsaland for the first time because you have just heard of Ride of Happiness and thinking is it worth the trip for one ride I would say yes the park has enough to offer a good day out. Ticket tip, booked online and you can “bid” for the price you want to pay for your ticket. I booked mine three weeks before and paid about 20 euros less than the online price for two tickets.

We were meant to visit on Thursday but gave up because of the queue of traffic to get in. We made sure to arrive at just after 9am the next day so that we could actually make it to the car park! Advice if you're coning, get to the car park before 9.30am during holidays and peak times. We gave up after waiting nearly an hour on the slip road from the motorway and google advised that it was at least another hour to make it the short distance to the park. We didn't have enough time to do all the attractions but that was also because we spent nearly 2 hours queuing for rides which then broke down just as we almost got there. It happened with 3 separate rides during the afternoon and apparently this is a common thing. The food prices weren't too bad compared to other theme parks we have been to. €9.50 for a bratwurst and a drink seemed quite reasonable. Queuing times weren't too bad in the morning but by the afternoon the average wait for most rides was 30mins to an hour. The app doesn't work! Most rides say 5 minutes but this is definitely not accurate My children enjoyed the day despite the long waits but agreed that we wouldn't be keen to return anytime soon.

Overall I can recommend Plopsaland (I find the name rather strange) Especially the Tomorrowland roller coaster is amazing. As a thrill ride freak I was very impressed. The amusement park vibe is missing a bit. Where is the theme park music and the cheering up at attractions?! Lots of corners are worn and look cheap. The queuing area of the wooden coaster was terrible. Extremely dirty, no fresh air and hot. Unfortunately some staff were unfriendly as well. Poor English skills. I had the impression that they have a staff shortage. That’s why they were not able to operate the attractions efficiently. At one carousel the ride last 3 mins. The ground time (only one personell) was over 5 mins. It didn’t seem to expedite the process. I can recommend to book online and get the fast pass. You can skip the lines of the major attractions. This way I could ride the Tomorrow Land coaster 4 times within 30 mins. The directions and signs need improvement. Especially for the express pass queue you don’t know where to go. Keep in mind that a lot of attractions are rather for small children. Food and drinks are expensive. So I suggest to bring your own catering.
