I stopped by Kasteel de Renesse during my trip to Baarle Nassau-Hertog, and I must say, it's one of the most charming castles in the Flemish region. The castle features a lovely pond, walking trails, fascinating exhibits, and a delightful café. Very accessible as De Lijn bus stop is just right across the entrance of the castle’s compound. Prachtig onderhouden kasteel in een prachtig domein. De gelijkvloers kan je geregeld bezoeken. De originele vloer en wandbekleding hangt hier nog. Op sommige momenten kan je ook de verdieping gaan bezoeken, wat wij bij de vorige editie van De Vlieg hebben kunnen doen. Deze verdieping ademd de tijd nog uit. Poppen laten de oude kledij nog zien, verschillende snuisterijen liggen er tentoon gesteld.
