Fondry des chiens — Attraction in Viroinval

As a seasoned traveler who's stood on the rim of the Grand Canyon, I approached Belgium's own Grand Canyon with a mix of skepticism and anticipation. The journey to Fondry Des Chiens was, shall we say, an odyssey through Belgium’s charmingly bumpy back roads. Upon arrival, my enthusiasm deflated faster than a punctured tire.

“Is this it?” I thought, standing at the edge of a glorified rock formation surrounded by selfie-snapping families. The “canyon” is more of a quaint photo op than a geological marvel. However, I must admit, the surrounding Ardennes are stunning. The hiking trails led us through vibrant forests and off the beaten path into the picturesque town of Nismes.

While the canyon might not rival its American counterpart, the experience was still delightful. Perfect for a Sunday jaunt, just don’t expect a life-altering...

Another fantastic place which tou could rarely found, I do not understand how can be nature so magical to create such places, you can park for free around 500m in front of it, can come to it in 10 min, it is just the "hole" but filled by large "magical" stones, it is sometimes dangerous to be there, but you will feel the power of nature, it is very interesting to stay and think while you are inside this "big hole", worthy to see... and of course, you can follow the many paths and make the trip to...

Ridiculously disappointing. Misleading Google Maps review this time, big time! If you were born in flat Holland and never left the country, why not some rocks can maybe impress you. But other than that, the trail makes you start up the hill in the nature, then brings you back... to the village where you first drove through by car.
