Blotevoetenpad Lieteberg — Attraction in Zutendaal

Really recommend place to spent time with your family and kids. They have big parking place and then you walking little bit to the lobby. It's barefoot walking so no water shoes or any other shoes, just barefoot. My 3yo daughter, walking from the start to einde. They have good tracking design with different kind of barefoot path. There is labirint and there is big tower that you can climb and see beautiful Limburg from upstairs. Before starting, you beter put your shoes and belonging in the loker that they have. What a great experience, walking bare foot over constructed rough terrain, water, mud, hot stones and assault course type things. A great nature adventure that was well worth the money and the time spent. My feet were a little sore by the end of it, but I think that’s part of the fun! Leuk om te doen. De wandeling duurt wat langer dan de aangegeven 1,5 uur maar dat was voor ons geen probleem. Veel afwisseling en zeker ook met (kleinere) kinderen goed te doen.

Op sommige stukken, voor enkele obstakels en als het wat drukker is, is het even in de file staan om te wachten tot je aan de beurt bent.

Er zijn goede faciliteiten beschikbaar. Zoals kluisjes om o.a. je schoeisel in op te bergen en na terugkomst op handige (enkel) hoogte geconstrueerde kraantjes en borstels om je voeten af te spoelen en schoon te maken.

Er is ruim voldoende parkeergelegenheid aanwezig en vanaf het parkeerterrein nog een kleine 5 minuten wandelen naar het bezoekerscentrum.

On het bezoekerscentrum kun je naast het blotevoetenpad ook nog een vlinderkoepel en de expositie entomopolis bezoeken. Hiervoor dien je appart entree te betalen of kun je een combinatieticket kopen. Mocht je hier interesse in hebben is het combinatieticket een aanrader.

Echter, vindt ik de entreeprijs voor de vlindertuin (€2,00) belachelijk. Het is klein, niet heel bijzonder en zeker geen entree waard. Bijzonder ook dat er entreeprijzen worden gehanteerd en het personeel tegelijk uitlegd dat het niet de juiste tijd (seizoen) is en er praktisch geen vlinders te zien zijn. Waar betaal...
