Very nice beach made of shells. It has bits of dark pink to give it a slightly pink color. I could not see any sand when you scoop it in your hands. Snorkeling was good to watch large parrot fish biting away at the coral which makes up everything I saw on the ocean floor in the surf. I thought it was smooth rock. It's not. It's completely corral made smooth by fish nibbling at it and the shells (it's not sand) in the surf. Rocks can give don't shade from the sun which can get intense. Il not very many people come here, they go to Horseshoe Bay which we never got to and I'm very satisfied with church Bay park.
