Beautiful beach with plenty food choices, and also real bathrooms 🙌🏾 and outdoor shower and footbath for washing off the sand afterwards. The bus stops right at the entrance for those using public transport - and the fun, pink sand, food and beautiful blue sea is only a few steps away🏖️🌅🌊🍗🍔🥗🍦🍹. Biggin' Up and Shoutin' Out to BQ's Beach Grill down John Smiths Bay too! Had a wonderful, tasty dinner cooked and served by friendly, pleasant staff with genuine smiles and good vibes🥰❣️This colorful spot has outdoor tables and chairs and also does take out service. They use fresh, real fried potatoes instead of French fries and fresh meats instead of the usual breaded and/or processed fast foods. Awesome! The fruit smoothies are WELL too😍🤩and there is a good selection of other cold drinks. It's always lovely views and a beautiful atmosphere at John Smiths Bay.💯😊. I was in some awesome company in the sun and cool breeze💞❣️ Wonderful part of the beginning of my summer. I will definitely be BACK💪🏾✨😁❣️I put up the menu for you so you can see in advance the deliciousness that awaits you 😉😋🥰🥳❣️ Also there is a little fast food, snack, and sweet treat stand at the western side of the beach too. The brownie sundaes are delicious😋...and there are snowballs, other frozen treats, chicken nuggets, hamburgers and other quick foods and snacks🥰🌴.

John Smith's Bay is a GORGEOUS beach, centrally located, with parking. Comfortable swimmers can enjoy snorkeling to see Parrot Fish and other reef fish. It is not a large beach, and yet it tends not to get too overcrowded. The sand is soft and lovely - and has the typical Bermuda-ful pink hue! The number 1 bus stops right in front of the beach.

Beautiful beach with as much pink sand as Horeshoe Bay. Water was so many shades of blue! A little choppy for swimming out deep but perfect for wave riding and wading in. Friendly beach bar and grill up the hill. Public restrooms available. Lots of man of war in late June.

John Smith's Bay is a small public beach on South shore. Plenty of parking close to the beach and overflow parking on the grass. There are restrooms, a consession stand (seasonal), and a lifeguard station (seasonal). The beach gets cleaned of seaweed on a regular basis. There is a cohort of early morning swimmers that use the beach all year round. The beach can get crowded in the summer but there's usually penty of room. Like most of Bermuda, you will see fish if you snorkel - bar jacks, palmetto, barracuda, bream, and chub are common here. Just up the road is Harrington Hundreds supermarket for...

My review is a little different than the others left. I’m a scuba diver, John smiths Bay beach is an excellent place to go scuba diving. The reefs are only a few hundred yards off the beach. The reefs are easy to navigate around. You’ll find swim throughs and lots of fish as well. It’s a really great shore dive. As a bonus, the water spigots by the bathrooms are fresh water so you can wash all you’re gear before heading home. A wonderful dive location. In closing, local dive operators don’t bring there guests to John smiths bay, so if you want to go there you will have to have all you’re...
