Came to bermuda on a cruise, and stopped here one of our days in port. Unfortunately we didn't have the best weather, gloomy/rainy/cloudy, but we were on vacation so that wasn't going to keep us away. Thankfully though it did keep many others away, so we basically had the place to ourselves. Awesome beach, kids loved the pink sand. Sargassum seaweed was abundant, but mainly on the sand not so much in the water. The little cove off to the side was awesome for little ones. There were storms off the coast, so the main beach wasn't the safest to swim in, but in the cove it was shallow with calm water. There were a few man o wars floating in the sargassum, but we just stayed to the opposite side of where they were and were fine. Overall beautiful beach and much less busy...
Read moreWarwick long bay should be everyone's first stop if headed to horseshoe bay. Took a taxi here early and had it pretty much privately until some busses of tourist showed up. Pink sand. Noticed a bunch of Portuguese man o wars dead on the beach. Not sure if that's a common occurrence ( there was storms the night before). The waters are very clear and the waves are not that high, though they are quite strong in pulling you in the water. The sands are pink! Very fine at the entrance and it gets more grainy as you walk down the long bay. If you walk to the right, you'll find quieter spots/shores.
