Roseanne and Clay were wonderful to assist us in any way, especially in getting around the island. If you advise them you need bus passes they can get them for you before you arrive. Expect a $50 cab fare from the airport to these apartments. You are close to several beaches and Jobson's cove which is extremely nice however be advised a lot of children are brought to this area via locals and families from the cruise ships. You get the occasional Parrot Fish swimming with you in the cove. You are close to the south shore Swizzle Inn pub. I did research prior to booking and learned the island is expensive so we brought food from home. If you are staying for more than 4 days I recommend you pack a lot of your own food as we were informed by other couples that stayed before we left. They brought frozen steaks, chicken, snacks and beer with them on the plane. They packed the food in their yeti cooler and brought it as a carry on luggage. A market is close by just under a couple of miles to walk to. As an example if you haven't been before. Half a watermelon was $11, an apple is $1.50, loaf of bread $6, one 12 pack of soda was $14 (they are 3 for $10 back home). Our grocery bill for that and a few other times like lunch meat was $200. ||Safe- there is one in the rooms but you don't set your own code. They give you a key for it. Just a note of caution if that is a concern for you bringing a lot of cash or valuable jewelry. ||Our last day we went on Baxters reef fishing tour and caught yellow snapper and jack fish. We brought it back to the apartment and cooked it for dinner and lunch the next day before we flew out. ||We would definitely return for another visit with a...
Read moreAvoid at all costs! Having stayed here as a child I looked forward to returning, however no one was ever available in person to assist with the many issues faced (office closed every day) and the few WhatsApp messages I sent to the management were often not acknowledged. The apartment had a musty smell, contained mould, dirty plates / cutlery and it’s clear that many parts, such as the windows and frames, hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The handbook stated cleaning was meant to take place every weekday, but this happened only three times during our week’s stay. Also the apartment was meant to sleep four people but there was only bedding for the main bed on the first night, meaning my daughter had to sleep under her coat!
Other issues included one of the smoke detectors not being operational, with batteries missing, the safe couldn’t be opened to put valuables in, TV remote control missing, no hairdryer, no access to the laundry room, no spare key provided, etc.

On a positive note, the Wi-Fi was consistent and proximity to buses into town and beaches was good, however there are nicer places to stay on the island so I wouldn’t recommend...
Read moreWe had three accommodations on our final list and thank the lord we chose this one. From our first enquiry Rosanne has been excellent and could not be more helpful such an excellent ambassador for the people of the island. ||||The accommodation is cleaned every day but the weekend, however we did ask for fresh towels and she was a complete Gem and provided these. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The bed was so comfortable and plenty of space in the apartment (we were in number 1 - a studio). ||||The balcony is ideal located to watch the sun rise. ||||The location you do need a bus pass great value for money but are in walking distance of plenty of beaches, just not a shop or pub / restaurant really however just 15 dollars max gets you to the south shore Swizzel and the Dockyard is only 25 minutes away by bus and Hamilton the same. We are so glad we stayed here and not in Hamilton as it is a real feel for the island. ||||You are 3 stops from the lighthouse, 2 stops from horse shoe bay or 20 minute walk. I could go on and on and on here this place is ideal!!! ||||Roseanne and Clay make it a...
