Stunning stele of more than three meters. It is more intricately carved than the El Fraile monolith on the same plaza. You can find a description next to it. However, even this piece of art is exposed to sun and rain, making you wonder if Bolivia cares at all about its cultural treasures. Putting a small thatched roof over it could be accomplished in two days and wouldn't cost much. At least it would stop rain from eroding it.

Fascinating archeological site dating back thousands of years. Interesting history of this monolith, buried by the Spanish and an attempted exorcism (you can see a cross on the right shoulder) and attempted to remove the statues head fearing it was evil. Recommend taking a guide although it’s unfortunate they don’t offer any English guides.

Anda , recorrelo, saca muchas fotos y despues me contas !!!!!
