A visit to a commercial crocodile breeding farm owned by White Botswanan Ms Sue.Slogrove .Seems I have done a short term course on " CROCODILES" during this stay in Africa.Got to understand the commercial breeding of crocodile akin to chicken farming. Sue.Slogrove's farmhouse has 800 crocodiles with a stock of 60 breeding crocodiles producing a average of 3000 baby crocodiles. Read moreThe owner Sue is really knowledgeable and friendly. We all learned a lot about crocodiles and had new experiences like holding the crocodile’s skull to feel the weight and like touching the teeth of the crocodiles to feel the sharpness etc.. and to top it off, you get to hold a baby crocodile with your hands. It was a great experience! $10 each (adult) for a 45-min tour. The government is making it really difficult for the business to survive with all the regulations and rules. Hopefully more people will visit this place to learn, to experience and to help...

After the tour we also had a chat with her where she showed us around her garden which wasnt less interesting than the tour itself. The Farm is only a little hard to finde since there are no signs anywhere which would be nice for...
