Highest peak of the Gaborone City. A view of the Country's 1st Biggest Dam is Clearer with all its angles visible. The City's view is also much amazing from this side which of course gives angles to the South & South western part of the City which entailes the Urban & industrial places. It's also amazing to be there on a drizzling/ rain or cloudy day... It can remind you of Cape Town's Table mountain

Nice and easy hike - beginner level, kid friendly. Beautiful views from city, dam and landscape with South Africa on the horizon. Careful with baboons near parking lot. Bring water, stay hydrated. Please don't litter, so sad to see trash everywhere. On the way down from the hill pay attention when to leave paved path otherwise you will end up at the quarry.

Highest point in Gaborone, Botswana. Make your body and mind a fresh. you climb once in a week , especially winter season. It will be great feeling when you reach the top point. I always try climb when i get time. You should climb hill with you friends , then you will have lots of fun and sweet memories.

I've had many great experiences climbing up and down this hill throughout my life. It's a fun and engaging 2 hour trek up and back. Perhaps a bit more time is needed if you decide to spend some more time at the peak. I would recommend to wear comfortable, durable hiking shoes and bring enough water. The hill is not the safest place and there have been many reports of muggins and robberies happening to hikers here, including to friends of mine. I think it's best to go hike in the early mornings, before the magodu get up! Either that or bring pepper spray and go with a...

Solid hiking trail! The first few minutes from the parking are effectively through industrial grounds, around a quarry fence, but after that it’s straight up and into the hills. Trails (there are several variations) are unmistakable and easy to follow. On a Saturday morning, there were many others hiking too: we passed a group coming down every few minutes. It felt safe and fun. Glad we did this! Took about...
