Kgale Hill — Local services in South-East District

Awesome place in the lap of nature a small mountain & forest at the one corner of the city .. Perfect trail towards the top of the hill and you may find some baboon 🙈 over there they are not harmful but keep a small stick on safe side.. No entry fee no proper entrance but near the mine gate you can start as you will find proper parking space there .. but park at your own risk ..

View :- from the top you can see the complete capital city of #Botswana Highway & dam both look awesome from here .. perfect sunset and sunrise point but we started late nearly 9AM so missed sunrise and couldn't wait for sunset 😁

Packing:- Just take a water bottle and another thing is that nothing available at the top except they beautiful view 🏔️ Carry some snacks too .. you can enjoy your 1 or 2 hrs

Note :- don't go will children under 10 years old because road is too round only big big stone 🪨 that have to climb it's difficult for them some pic of that trail uploaded under can see

There are 2 ways to go up - (i) Via Rocks 🪨 (ii) Via Gravel road halway and steep upside trend road.

Feel like a winner after you reach top hill. Even you will find your friends all of sudden sometimes.

Morning Sun Rise 🌞 is The Best experience one can feel overthere.

This place needs a visitor’s centre. Google maps took us to the main road by “Kgale News”. Apparently that’s not the starting point of the hike. Please invest in a visitor’s centre and let people pay. Clean it up as there’s a lot of litter and human stuff up there. Some company can take responsibility to provide security and clean up the place. It has a lot...
