La visitamos en dos ocasiones: una de ellas llegamos caminando por la Trilha Morro do Rapa desde Praia Brava, y la otra también caminando, pero desde la zona urbana. Un inconveniente de esta playa es que notamos que es muy difícil encontrar estacionamiento gratuito, aunque sí hay mediante pago. Hay un ingreso principal en uno de los extremos de la playa. En esa primera parte, hay algunos restaurants de playa, con servicio de sombrilla, vendedores y más gente en general. Pero si se busca más tranquilidad, es posible seguir caminando y la playa se convierte en mucho más tranquila y menos concurrida. Uno de los días que la visitamos tenía más olas, aunque pequeñas; el otro, prácticamente ninguna.
