Walter world is an option for guests at the three National Inn chain hotels in Poços de Caldas MG. The three hotels are ranked by categories and offer free daily passports to the park which is located in the same area. They have regular amusement park attractions like Ferris wheel and rollercoasters (yes they have two - small ones). It also have some themed attractions like a train station, 6D and 8D film booths, a zoo (which I found out you have to pay plus R$5 to access). They also have two monorails (one of them restricted to the Thermas hotel guests), a military museum, some other exhibitions and so on. All in all it is an option to get out of their resort-like structure (it's all inclusive - food, drink, snacks, music every night, bar, etc.) Except for one of the hotels. So far so good, however... You've got kids and... It's July (holiday season) and the park opens at 10 a.m., from noon to 1 p.m. some operators take turns and stop their attractions for one hour lunch break, then at 5.30 p.m. The park closes.

To sum up, my kid loved the place (yours will probably love it too - so this review takes an adult perspective). Walter world's attractions are no better than popular funfairs I've been to in other small cities. Some attractions are out if order and some of them show signs of aging. This place really needs some maintenance...

That was the first time at Thermas Walter World Resort and we had a very high expectations due to our previous vacations in another all inclusive hotel. At the arriving, we found the front desk not appealing and the bathroom (at room) a little bit dark and old but , after that, we were POSITIVELY SURPRISED by the whole structure which is so nice. Many swimming pools with warm water, splash, toboggan, mini zoo, monotrail, cars museum, and a big park that unfortunately was closed due to city hall recommendation because COVID-19. All food and drinks so tasty and in big quantities. The best experience was regarding the staff. All of them so kind and always ready to help. Our SPECIAL THANKS for Daniela, Jose and Patrick (from concierge) that were very proactive and concerned in guarantee we had a great stay and also to the children monitors team TIENTAO (Tio Grilo / Tio Gigante / Tia Panda / e Tio "Desconhecido" - my son loved them, enjoyed a lot and did many friends). STRENGTHS: staff (definitely) / care with COVID-19 / structure SPACE FOR IMPROVEMENTS: pillows softness / cleaning staff a little bit noisy early morning THANK YOU so much for giving us a GREAT...
