Beautiful beach and waters. About 20 minutes from the cruise port. Plenty of taxes that charge $10 each way, we had an open aired taxi. If you suffer from motion sickness just fyi it’s a bumpy ride with hills.. beach was packed. Knocking off 2 stars because you don’t really have the option of choosing your own set up. The beach is covered in vendors beach chairs and umbrellas. We brought beach blankets but weren’t able to use them because the vendors don’t want you in their area unless you purchase from them. There was also an argument between two vendors trying to sell us chairs and it left us feeling a little uncomfortable. There’s plenty of options for food and drinks and a gift shop. Return taxi runs every hour. Overall felt safe but be prepared for...

We had a great day at the beach in Tortola. We caught a taxi at the cruise port and drove to Cane Garden Bay Beach. It was a beautiful white sand beach with chairs and umbrellas you could rent for $20us. There are lots of places on the beach to grab a bite to eat and there are several little souvenir shops too. The tide does venture high onto the beach so set yourself up well back from the water if you are going to be there for a while. If you don’t you will have to move back at some point, or be washed away lol. The water was the perfect temp but can be a little difficult to enter and exit if you are not that mobile because of the waves breaking on the beach. Well worth the...

We stopped in Tortola for Christmas during our cruise to BVI. Cane Garden Bay was one of the recommended beaches on Google and by the cruise management so we chose to visit it. We were able to get a personal taxi for $20 which dropped us from Tortola port to the beach. It is a very beautiful and peaceful beach. There are lot of options for beach chairs and umbrellas. Changing room is free and pretty clean. Although we didn’t eat here but there were 2 or 3 restaurants which were open on 25th as well. It gets a bit hot here so I highly suggest carrying water bottles and sunscreen. We fortunately found a tender coconut vendor which did us really good to...
