Druzhba Park — Attraction in Sofia City

Great for walks and running ✔️

You are a duck lover? Say no more, because we've got all the good ducks here ✔️

Great for first dates, because there is a lot of ground/ways to escape if things go bad. Plus you can always get away by swimming away ✔️

We have 2 fountains. One of them is ok the small one ⛲, but the other one - tall one looks like a broken pipe that's leaking a little too much. The fountains are placed as random as they can be. Considering the fact that there is a lot of the lake they are facing each other which looks oddly and unpleasant and unsatisfying. ✔️ Weird flex, but it's ok, right? 😉👉 😀👍

We also have a book trading, little station. ✔️

Day 86 🗓️

The book trading station is untouched. Nobody has had the courage to get close to it not to mention opening it. "Leave it be and live to see another day!" I said to my fellow comrade by pulling him away from the demonic creature.

We also have ECO toilets here ✔️ So ECO that sometimes they are in the lake.

We have more benches than ever and we are grateful ✔️

The whole park is kinda clean, well not the lake of course ✔️

Everything is great in park ДРУЖБА!

❤️ WHAT WE WANT TO SEE IN THE PARK:

Free water at least one bubbler aka ⛲ drinking fountain. Cleaner park and lake. A gazebo or two in the park. Special area for the dogs so they can do their dog stuff there. New playground for the kids. Restoration of the sunbathing area for the old folks. More trees and plants maybe even a rock or two so it can look more natural.

Park Druzhba is a great park in Druzhba neighborhood, Sofia.

My personal favorite park, as it is an amazing escape in the city. The huge lake in the middle of the park is wonderful, home of many fishes, ducks and turtles. Also, there are two beautiful temples, situated on two hills in both extremes of the lake. There is a spacious bridge crossing the lake in the middle and basically dividing the lake in two equal parts. What is more, there are a number of restaurants around the lake, providing good choice for visitors. The Iskar Cultural Institute, the oldest in Sofia, is located next to the lake. Great place for walking dogs, relaxing, walking in nature, bringing small children and having a great time with friends and family.

Park Drujba is a really great park, in my opinion the best in Sofia, because it is different than the others and the natural huge lake provides a great value for this park and makes it stand out from the rest of the...

The park has always been a nice place for a walk but they recently renewed it and now it's definitely great. The lake, the fountains and the greenery just invite you to sit and relax. Take the kids there to enjoy the playground or feed the ducks. The church and chapel are also worth seeing, regardless of your religious beliefs.
