Park “Ayazmo“ — Attraction in Stara Zagora

I was shocked to find out this wonderful park has a horrible zoo in extremely poor conditions. Who in his right mind thinks that's a good idea??? I will never expose my kids and myself or will educate them that animals in cages, suffering, limited, lonely, fighting and abused is what life of animals in the wild in their natural habitat looks like. Btw, if you see any animal just pacing back and forth in that small concrete cage it means it's very anxious and distressed. If you see a wounded animal it's because the stress and anxiety makes them aggressive and they start attacking each other so more often than not you'll see animals in cages with bleeding wounds and very visible scars. Please remember that when you leave and go to your warm, safe, comfortable home, these poor animals are stuck in a concrete cage, freezing and alone. Once I read and learned what's really going on in zoos, Aquqriums, Seaworlds etc. I swore never again. Please don't tell your kids and out future...

Lovely park! Very peaceful place to walk around. There are almost always people but just mother's with sleeping babies and joggers. There are water fountains, porterhouses and lots of benches. They have badminton courts and it's super close to the zoo. I don't remember any signs saying where anything is, but if you look at an aerial view of the google map on satalight mode you should be able to find the badminton courts and that is close to the fish statue in the main picture.
