Thanks to the local restaurant Led Zep, there is a nice trail all around Phnom Kep, with a few tangent routes to do additional trekking and exploring. While it does cost $1 for foreigners (in order to keep the park clean), the views are nice and if you need to get in some light exercise before heading to the beach, then spending a few hours here is just the thing. Check out "Sunset Rock" if you are out at night, but definitely bring a flashlight for the hike back...

We got a tuk tuk from Kep beach to the gate of the temple then walked up the steep stairs to the temple, I recommend doing this in the morning before it gets too hot like we did or later in the afternoon when itâs cooling down.

After going up the stairs,a nice panoramic view welcomes you.Also the whole life story of Buddha is very nicely depicted...
