Suor Prat Towers: A Mysterious Marvel The Suor Prat Towers, a series of twelve unique stone structures located in Angkor Thom, Siem Reap, Cambodia, are a fascinating and intriguing addition to the Angkor complex. While their exact purpose remains a mystery, their distinct architecture and historical significance make them a must-see for any visitor to the area. These small but impressive towers are believed to date back to the 12th century. While their original purpose is unknown, there are two popular theories: Royal Residences: Some believe that the towers were used as residences for the King's wives. The unique design and location of the towers might support this theory. Places of House-Arrest: Another theory suggests that the towers were used as places of house-arrest for officials who had fallen out of favor with the King. Regardless of their original purpose, the Suor Prat Towers are a remarkable example of ancient Khmer architecture. Their intricate carvings and unique design offer a glimpse into the rich history and culture of Cambodia.

Sour Prat Temple: The Towers of the Tightrope Dancers Sour Prat (also spelled Sour Prat or sometimes Sour Prat) is a line of twelve nearly identical towers that stand in a row just east of the Royal Palace and the Terrace of the Elephants in Angkor Thom, the last great capital of the Khmer Empire. Their name translates to "The Towers of the Rope Dancers," which hints at their legendary, though not historical, purpose. Unlike the grand state temples like Bayon or Baphuon, the Sour Prat towers are enigmatic, and their true function remains a subject of debate among archaeologists and historians.

Highly recommended when you want to escape from the crowd and immerse yourself in the wild and profound nature, especially in the back area of the 12 towers. There is also a lake that you walk around. Some say it was used as a reservoir to collect rain water, but again, I didn't have any guide with me, just some local story which you are entirely free to believe, or you can also make your own research about these. I myself like to think and imagine every possibility because I'm here first and foremost to dream and to get lost in some place my soul seemed to recognize deeply in the heart.
