Ebeling Beach — Attraction in Alberta

It had dark sand almost muddy. Water was also murky, probably because it was mud down at the bottom. Water isn't deep, just flat. Nice sand. Parking free, lots and close. Grass area before beach. Shallow for a fair ways. At swimming rope about mid thigh to waist. But water level very low right now so boat launch closed. I grew up 30 minutes away visiting this beach often throughout my childhood. I brought my daughters here on a Friday afternoon recently and the beach (sand area) seemed not well kept or groomed.
