Royal Tyrrell Museum Lookout — Attraction in Alberta

Had the best time at the museum with the family. The kids really loved seeing all the stuff and we even had a couple of employees come up and show us cool things in the building!

When we finished the tour we had a delicious lunch in the cafeteria. The chicken nuggets were delicious as was the chicken wrap!

We also took on the DinoMite experience. It was a 90-minute tour to find fossils and explore different rocks available. With our 3 and 4 year old it was the perfect experience because it wasn't too hard for them. Very much recommend it !

Cannot wait to come back !...

Just walk a bit farther and do the Badlands Interpretive Trail. The plethora of stairs leading up to this small boardwalk isn't worth it, especially when busy. There's an open area at one end but it's a dead end with a walk just wide enough to pass others, no other spots to pause and look from. The badlands trail is a short walk but well maintained and only a few gentle hills and more information along the trails to tell you...

This spot is exactly in front of Royal Tyrell Museum. This spot is open & no need to buy a ticket. There are few steps to reach at this locations. It is really awesome view of Museum & mountains ⛰️ side. Two telescopes 🔭 are also available to view the beautiful sight. Highly recommend to visit this spot...
