It's a good trailhead! I park here for climbing, people park here for hiking, climbing, lake activities, and picture taking. I'd recommend getting here early (truly, as early as you can manage) if you are coming on a weekend and the weather is nice and it is between May-September. Parking has gotten progressively harder here as years have gone by.
Please don't box people in if you are parking here. Please do not approach the families of big horn sheep that frequent this road! Please do not block the road taking pictures of said big horn sheep! Keep driving (slowly) and be cautious of pedestrians...
