Oh my goodness. ..I have to share our experience today with you at Skimmerhorn Winery...we arrived about 1.45 pm...there were four in our party..great friends from Manitoba...ot was smokey but the sun was shining brightly in the valley! Our waitress was friendly..knowledgeable regarding the Tapas and the wine . We had 2 bottles of wine.. the 2015 Devil's Chair paired with a great local Charcuterie Board of local meats and cheeses (we ordered two), a Beet salad, a grilled peach salad and pork schnitzel....all were wonderfu...beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. For dessert we had two chocolate (served all the time and made by the chef) creme with laleche and whipping cream & marigold garnish...all edible...and two Panna Ricotta...with raspberry coulis..to die for both desserts the 2015 Marechal Foch..was the perfect accompaniment An afternoon . to remember. ..great great friends...great deck. ..great views.....wonderful food. . Delicious wines...slow and relaxed. ..thank...

I hope that the owner recognizes that putting unexpierenced non caring hosts will eventually cost...

Lunch is tapas style with several very tasty small plates. The menu was farm to table so you could experience what the surrounding farms could offer. White wines were very nice, no red wines available when we visited. Definitely a place to return to on...
