I have visited Margaret Falls near Tappan, BC for the first time, along with other members of our social club from Kamloops. It's one of the most spectacular falls I have ever seen. It is truly a natural wonder and is very breathtaking & a popular tourist sight. The shale rock layer formations along the trail to the falls are extensive and very high. It's like walking on the inside of a mountain that has opened up in the center, formed and worn down over time by the rushing waters of the stream. There are giant ancient fallen trees all around and others that are still standing tall. At the falls there is a lookout point that you can step out onto that puts you closer to it and you can feel the light mist from the cascading water that foams up at the bottom of the falls. The wide trails are easy to navigate. It's an awesome sight to behold! It's one of BC's many beautiful preserved parks and is...

Beautiful easy walk. It's very short. 20 minutes there and back. I spent at least 40 minutes there, though taking photos and relaxing. The trail is well maintained, and the route to the falls is obvious. The photos don't do the scenery and waterfall justice. It's worth checking out for yourself. There is a fair amount of parking space and there is cell service. I went around 9 a.m, so no one was there yet. There is a metal landing you can stand on to get photos right in front of the falls. The deep hills and rock walls along the way are breathtaking! The drive out to the falls is a 60km windy road, and the scenery on the drive is very nice. Overall,...

If you’re just going to see the falls this place is a breeze. Easy parking, very accessible paths winding up to the base of the falls, and lots to see along the way. The bridges across the creek are wide, solid, and new. Paths are well maintained and it’s a very comfortable walk up. Even at the base of the falls there’s a very reassuring and solid steel platform that lets you get close without being at risk.

From start to finish it is well planned and I was impressed to see the effort and resources that went into making these falls so easy to visit.

The road to get here is a bit of a windy adventure but a great stopover if you...
