We made a special trip driving from Calgary, hoping to pick cherries at the beginning of the season in Kelowna. However, the local cherries hadnāt started yet. Just when we thought weād have to leave disappointed, we saw a post on Xiaohongshu where someone shared this farm ā they had cherries ready for picking! The fruit was fresh, large, and juicy. The farm owner was incredibly friendly and gave us detailed instructions on where and how to pick the cherries. The Rainier cherries were $4 per pound and the red ones were $3 per pound. We stopped here before we returned home and found the owners very welcoming and friendly.
There were plenty of cherry trees to pick from. The owners even offered to drop us off for certain varieties.
Prices were $4 for Rainier Cherries and $3.50 for the red ones.
