Wild Side Trail — Attraction in Area C (Long Beach)

Our time on the wild side trail was incredible. The Ahousaht people were incredibly gracious in welcoming us to their lands. We ended up getting a ride to Flores island with a gentleman named Tom who happily chatted with us along the boat ride and even drove us to the trail head in his truck. The trail was awesome with many stretches of east beach walking. Some of the forest trails were a little bit challenging with downed trees but easily accessible. Our camping at cow bay was awesome and we were one of 5 total tents on the beach. Sleeping with the sounds of the ocean made a lovely night and we walked out the next morning. Our water taxi on the way back was seamless and easy as a few residents stopped to make sure we knew were we were headed. Such an amazing hike and will definitely...
